Creation of work lists for integrated natural science topics

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou kritického myšlení a jeho využitím na základních školách či v nižších ročnících víceletého gymnázia v hodinách chemie. Práce je členěna na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá informační a přírodovědnou gramotností v českém školství a dále pojednává o kritickém myšlení, včetně jeho vývoje, vymezení a rámci RWCT (Čtením a psaním ke kritickému myšlení), který využívá třífázový model E-U-R. Praktická část vychází z výzkumného šetření, které mapovalo množství materiálů pro aplikaci metod kritického myšlení ve vyučovacím předmětu chemie a dále zjišťovalo témata pro zpracování pracovních listů. Pracovní listy využívají metody, jež vedou k hledání klíčových informací v textu a vedou žáky k tomu, aby se na věci dívali z různých úhlů pohledu. Pracovní listy jsou seřazeny dle vzdělávacích oblastí RVP VZ. V úvodu každého pracovního listu je seznam aktivit, vzdělávací cíle a kompetence, které jsou u žáka rozvíjeny, zařazení témata do ročníku, časová náročnost a integrace přírodovědných předmětů. Dále je každý pracovní list členěn do tří fází, z nichž každá část obsahuje časové vymezení a komentář k dané aktivitě. Součástí druhé fáze je zpracovaný výukový text na dané téma. Pracovní listy jsou určeny k naplnění celé vyučovací hodiny a lze je zařadit při opakování učiva či probírání nového tématu.

Abstract:

The Master´s thesis deals with the issue of critical thinking and its use in primary schools or lower grammar schools in chemistry classes. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with information and science literacy in Czech education and further discusses critical thinking, including its development, definition and within RWCT (Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking), which uses the three-phase E-U-R model. The practical part is based on a research survey, which mapped the amount of materials for the application of critical thinking methods in the subject of chemistry and further identified the topics for the processing of worksheets. Worksheets use methods that lead to the search for key information in the text and guide students to look at things from different angles. The worksheets are arranged according to the educational areas of the RVP ZV. At the beginning of each worksheet is a list of activities, educational goals and competencies that are developed in the student, the inclusion of topics in the year, time and integration of science subjects. Furthermore, each worksheet is divided into three phases, each of which contains a timeline and a commentary on the activity. Part of the second phase is a teaching text on the topic. Worksheets are designed to fill the entire lesson and can be included when repeating the curriculum or discussing a new topic.
