Abstract:
This thesis analyzes the writings and speeches of the Arapahoe priest Sherman Coolidge (ca. 1860-1932) in the context of the Progressive-era Native rights movement led by the Society of American Indians, of which he was president from 1912 to 1916. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou vybraných spisů Arapažského kněze Shermana Coolidge (ca. 1860-1932 ) v kontextu progresivní éry hnutí za práva Amerických Indiánů, kterou vedla Společnost Amerických Indiánů (The Society of American Indians - SAI), ve které byl Coolidge prezidentem mezi lety 1912 a 1916.
