Occurrence of socially pathological symptoms manifested by community centre clients

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje tématu Výskyt projevů sociálně patologických jevů u klientů komunitních center. Práce je rozdělena na dvě ústřední části - teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část práce obsahuje vymezení základních pojmů, jež souvisejí s tématikou sociálně patologických jevů, taktéž charakteristiku, příčiny a vybrané druhy sociálně patologických jevů. Další kapitoly poukazují na problematiku rodiny, volného času dětí a mládeže a též pojednávají o funkcích a činnostech nízkoprahových zařízení pro děti a mládež a o prevenci v těchto zařízeních. Empirická část předkládané diplomové práce se zaobírá kvalitativním výzkumem, který vychází z rozhovorů s klienty a pracovníky nízkoprahového zařízení pro děti a mládež. Daný výzkum byl realizován v komunitním centru pro děti a mládež Lucerna v Ústí nad Labem. Zjišťovali jsme, zda rodinné prostředí klientů ovlivňuje výskyt projevů sociálně patologických jevů a zda má na tento výskyt vliv také pravidelnost návštěv v zařízení. V závěru práce je uvedeno zpracování dat, jejich interpretace a diskuze a doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the topic Occurrence of manifestations of socially pathological phenomena of community center clients. The work is divided into two central parts - theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part of the thesis contains definition of basic concepts which are related to the topic of socially pathological phenomena as well as the characteristics, causes and selected types of socially pathological phenomena. The next chapters point out the issues of family, leisure time of children and youth and also discuss the functions and activities of low-threshold facilities for children and youth and prevention in these facilities. The empirical part of submitted diploma thesis deals with qualitative research which is based on interviews with clients and employees of low-threshold facilities for children and youth. The research was carried out in the community center for children and youth Lucerna in Ústí nad Labem. The subject of the discovering was whether the family environment of the client influences the occurrence of manifestations of socially pathological phenomena and whether the regularity of visits to the facility also affects this occurrence. At the end of the thesis, data processing, data processing, their interpretation and discussion, and recommendations for practice are presented.
