The place of physical activities in the quality of senior´s lifes in the Vintířov village

Abstract:

Udržování pohybové aktivity u seniorů hraje velmi důležitou roli pro zachování nezávislosti, zapojení se do aktivního života a prožití kvalitního stáří. Cílem diplomové práce Místo pohybových aktivit v kvalitě života seniorů v obci Vintířov je stanovit úroveň vybraných ukazatelů pohybové aktivity u seniorů 65+ žijících v domácím prostředí v obci Vintířov s ohledem na specifika docházkové vzdálenosti k pohybově příznivému prostředí obce. Naplnění tohoto cíle jsme dosáhli splněním dvou dílčích cílů studie: Stanovili jsme úroveň subjektivně vnímané kvality života a struktury pohybové aktivity u seniorů a následně stanovili objemové a frekvenční charakteristiky pohybových aktivit u seniorů. Výsledky studie zohledníme v propagaci pohybových aktivit a aktivního životního stylu seniorů a rozvoji volnočasových a relaxačních ploch a zón v obci. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je vymezena problematika pohybové aktivity a inaktivity a jejich vliv na organismus v seniorském věku. Dalšími zachycenými oblastmi je stáří, stárnutí a periodizace stáří, kvalita života a životní styl seniorské populace a jejich vliv na kvalitu životy v tomto období. Hlavní část práce zachycuje výsledky výzkumného šetření realizovaného na základě dotazníkového šetření a rozhovorů u vybrané skupiny respondentů.

Abstract:

The maintaining of senior's physical activity is very important for keeping independent, integration to casual life and living superior senescence. The goal of this thesis is to determine the level of selected physical activity indicators of seniors 65+ living in home environment in the village Vintířov with respect to specifics of walking distance to walking-friendly surrounding of the village. We intend to achieve this goal by meeting two sub-objectives of the study: We want to determine the level of subjectively perceived quality of life and structure of the physical activities of seniors and determine the volume and the frequency characteristics of physical activities of seniors. We want to take into account the results of the study in the promotion of physical activities and active lifestyle of seniors and development of leisure and relaxation areas and zones in the village. The thesis is devided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with physical activity and inactivity and its effect on the body of seniors. The other areas are the senescence and periodisation of the old age as well as life quality and lifestyle of seniors and their impact on life quality during this period. The practical part if this thesis captures the results of the research based on questionaire and interviews in selected group of respondents
