This bachelor's thesis deals with an issue of obesity as a wide spread civilisation dissease, which is often connected with arthrosis of weight bearing joints, presenting by coxatrhrosis and gonarthrosis. Táto bakalárska práca pojednáva o problematike obezity ako o rozšírenom civilizačnom ochorení a s ním často spojenou artrózou nosných kĺbov, čo predstavujú bedrové a kolenné kĺby. Práca je rozdelená do troch hlavných častí. V prvej časti sa nachádzajú nevyhnutné teoretické poznatky o možných príčinách vzniku obezity a s ňou spojených komplikáciách.
