Literature in French Language Teaching

Abstract:

Práce představuje postavení literárního textu v učebnicích francouzského jazyka, které se používají na základních školách a na nižších stupních víceletých gymnázií v okrese Plzeň - město ve školním roce 2011/2012. Teoretická část definuje literární útvary vhodné pro výuku francouzského jazyka, uvádí postavení literárního textu v různých didaktických metodách a role literatury ve výuce francouzského jazyka. Část průzkumu analyzuje literární texty z uvedených učebnic a výsledky průzkumu třídí podle různých kategorií, kterými jsou například literární útvar, doba vzniku díla a navržené práce s textem.

Abstract:

The thesis presents the role of literary text in French textbooks which are used at Pilsen lower secondary schools in 2011-2012. The theoretical part defines divers literary forms suitable for French language teaching. Furthermore, the roles of literary text in the history of language teaching methods and approaches as well as the advantages of the use of literature in French language teaching are outlined. The second part of the thesis includes a survey. Literary texts found in the given textbooks are analysed and categorised according to divers points of view, which are for example form of the literary text, year of publication and activities to be worked on.
