Inner socioeconomic structure of Jihlava region (application of methods of multidimensional analysis)

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá tématem sociálně prostorové diferenciace v prostoru města Jihlavy a jeho blízkého okolí. Snaží se komplexně informovat o tomto krajském městě a ve stěžejní části vytvořit vnitřní strukturu města a vybraných přilehlých obcí v jeho blízkém zázemí. Text je pro lepší srozumitelnost doplněn o tabulkové kartografické výstupy. Při práci jsem vycházel z datového souboru Sčítání lidu, domů a bytů 2001, na nějž jsem aplikoval vícerozměrné statistické metody. Úvodem je čtenář seznámen s použitou metodologií, cíli práce, způsobem úpravy dat a dalšími důležitými metainformacemi, nechybí ani stručné představí města Jihlavy z historického i současného aspektu. Nejdůležitější částí diplomové práce jsou faktorová a shluková analýza, společně aplikované na studovaný region za účelem odhalení jeho socioekonomické prostorové struktury.

Abstract:

Presented thesis deals with socio-spatial differentiation in the area of the town of Jihlava and its surrounding neighborhood. It seeks to comprehensively inform about this county seat and in the core to create an internal structure of city and selected neighboring municipalities in the near background. The text is for better clarity supplemented with the table cartographic outputs. I drew from data file based on census 2001, on which I applied multidimensional statistical methods. Outset, the reader is familiar with the methodology used, the objectives of the work, adjustment of data and other relevant meta-information, there is also brief presentation of Jihlava in the historical and contemporary aspect. The most important parts of the thesis are factor and cluster analysis, commonly applied to the studied region in order to identify its socio-economic spatial structures.
