Secondary succession in the selected anthropogenic areas in the former military area Ralsko

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá sekundární sukcesí v bývalém vojenské újezdu Ralsko. V sedmi modelových lokalitách došlo k zmapování aktuální vegetace, vyhodnocení sukcese a k diskusi nad výsledky. Po vyhodnocení bylo zjištěno, že ve všech lokalitách objevuje věková zonalita dřevin, která směřuje od hranic s lesními plochami. Dále, že mezi dřevinami výrazně dominují dřeviny s pionýrskou strategií růstu jako bříza bělokorá (Betula pendula) a borovice lesní (Pinus sylvestris). Klimaxové druhy se zde vyskytují pouze jako solitérní dřeviny nebo v remízech. Pedologické a klimatické poměry oblasti napomáhají v mezidruhové kompetici borovici lesní. Ve všech lokalitách byly zpozorovány neofyty, zejména v oblasti antropogenizovaných ploch.

Abstract:

This paper deals with the secondary succession in the former military area Ralsko. A mapping was done of the current vegetation in seven selected areas. After the mapping, an evaluation of the level of succession was made. After that a discussion of the results was initiated. It was discovered after the appraisal that there is an age zonality of the tree species that occurs in every model area. This age zonality proceeds from the borders of the model areas that border with the forest areas Pioneer tree species dominate in all selected area, mostly silver birch (Betula pendula) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris). Climax tree species such as solitary trees and groves can be found. Edaphic and climatic conditions of the area provide better growing conditions for Scots pine. Introdroduced species have been found, mostly in the anthropogenetic areas.
