The influence of clones on the qualitative characteristics of grapes

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma „Vliv klonů na kvalitativní vlastnosti hroznů“ byla vypracována na Zahradnické fakultě Mendelovy univerzity v Brně, na Ústavu vinohradnictví a vinařství v Lednici. Práce se zabývá kvalitativními parametry hroznů a jejich ovlivněním skrze klony u odrůd Veltlínské zelené a Sauvignon. Literární část je věnována popisem sledovaných odrůd Sauvignon a Veltlínské zelené a veškerých kvalitativních parametrů hroznů a metodám jejich stanovení. Závěr literární části se věnuje popisu klonové selekce, klonovým výběrům a popisem klonu obecně. Praktická část se zaměřuje na měření fenologických, uvologických, a hlavně analytických vlastností klonů odrůd Veltlínské zelené a Sauvignon a je na nich provedeno následné statistické vyhodnocení. Závěr praktické části je věnován porovnávání senzorických vlastností vyrobeného vína z vybraných klonů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis on the topic „The influence of clones on the qualitative characteristics of grapes“ was made at the Horticulture faculty of the Mendel university in Brno, at the Institute of viticulture and viniculture in Lednice. Diploma thesis deals with qualitative parameters of grapes and their influence through clones of varieties Grüner Veltliner and Sauvignon. The literary part is devoted to the description of monitored Grüner Veltliner and Sauvignon and all the qualitative parameters of the grapes and their determination methods. The end of the literary part is dedicated to the description of clone selection and the description of the clone in general. The practical part focuses on the measurment of pheonological, uvological, and mainly analytical properties of clones of the Grüner Veltliner and Sauvignon varieties and subsequent statistical evaluation is carried out on them. The end of the practical part is devoted to comparing the sensory properties of the wine produced from the chosen clones.
