Limits and assumptions of the fundamental analysis of the exchange rate in the context of its regime

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na rozdělení systému měnových kurzů na základních druhy kurzů, zobrazení jejich historického vývoje a představení základních fundamentů, které jejich vývoj ovlivňují. Praktická část ukazuje na vybraných příkladech zemí, u kterých jsou analyzovány jejich základní makroekonomické veličiny, některé proměnné, které na kurz těchto zemí působí nepřímo a limitují tak vypovídající schopnost fundamentálních modelů, resp. upozorňují na tak často opomíjená omezení a předpoklady, které s sebou jednotlivé přístupy fundamentální analýzy přináší.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the separation of the Exchange rates systém into the basic types of rates, displaying their historical evolution and presenting the basic foundations that influence their development. Using selected examples of countries whose basic macroenonomic indicators are analysed the practical part of the thesis points out some variables that indirectly influence the Exchange rate in these countries and limit the information value of fundamental, or they draw attention respectively to the often neglected restrictions and assumptions that individual approaches to fundamental analysis bring about.
