Educational Opportunities in the Context of the Right to Education

Abstract:

Bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá věcnou problematikou vzdělávacích příležitostí v kontextu práva na vzdělání. Práce obsahuje unikátní výčet vzdělávacích příležitostí, které úzce souvisejí s naplňováním práva na vzdělání. Nadále se věnuje problematice legislativního zakotvení práva na vzdělání a také současným trendům ovlivňující vzdělávací soustavu. Práce vykazuje znaky multidisciplinárního charakteru. V této souvislosti je v první části kladen důraz na teoreticko-doktrinální vymezení vzdělávacích příležitostí, jakož i na právo na vzdělání. Teoretická část se proto věnuje komplexním východiskům zkoumaných objektů. Druhá část práce však disponuje i teoreticko-empirickými rysy. Empirická část spočívá v obsahové analýze vybraných legislativních a strategických dokumentů a aktů, přičemž jejím hlavním přínosem je prozkoumat skutečný rámec aplikace vzdělávacích příležitostí v kontextu dodržování a naplňování práva na vzdělání v České republice.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis examines the substantive issues of the educationl opportunities in the context of the right to education. The thesis contains a unique enumeration of the educational opportunities which closely deals with the right to education. Further it pays attention to the problematics of legislative interception of the right to education and actual trends influencing the Czech educational system. The thesis has a multidisciplinary character. In this context, there is a emphasis on theoretical doctrinal definition of the educational opportunities as well as the right to education. Simultaneously, the thesis has a theoretical empirical features too. The theoretical part takes a closer look at global solutions of both objects. The empirical part consists of the content analysis of selected legislative and strategic documents and acts. The main goal of this thesis can be seen in examination of the real aplication of the educational opportunities in the context of the right to education in the Czech republic.
