Cílem diplomové práce je analýza systému zdravotního pojištění v ČR a mezinárodní srovnání. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována organizačnímu a právnímu postavení zdravotních pojišťoven a zejména analýze potenciálů a rizik transformace zdravotních pojišťoven na akciové společnosti.
