Abstract:

This master thesis is a study dedicated to phraseology, specifically to the analysis of idioms based on bullfighting. The thesis is composed of a theoretical part, followed by an analysis of the selected idioms. In the theoretical part we present a phraseology as a linguistic discipline, its history, development, idioms and their specific features. The following chapter is dedicated to the bullfighting. In the analytical part, we present the applied methodology, and we continue with the analysis of the bullfighting-based idioms where we decide whether they appear in a bullfighting field, in a general field as a bullfighting metaphor, in a sport section or in a general field.

Abstract:

Este trabajo es un estudio dedicado a la disciplina lingüística de la fraseología, concretamente al análisis de aquellas unidades fraseológicas basadas en la tauromaquia. El trabajo se abre con una base teórica, seguida de un análisis. En la base teórica presentamos la fraseología como disciplina lingüística, las UFs junto con sus rasgos específicos y su historia. También hay un capítulo dedicado a la tauromaquia. En la parte analítica presentamos la metodología aplicada, y a continuación, el propio análisis de las UFs taurinas donde estudiamos si las UFs aparecen en el ámbito taurino, en el ámbito general dentro de una metáfora taurina, en el ámbito deportivo o en el ámbito general.
