Awareness of college girls about the effect of hormonal contraception on women's health

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá informovaností budoucích pedagožek, studujících prezenční program Výchova ke zdraví se zaměřením na vzdělávání, o vlivu hormonální antikoncepce na zdraví žen. Teoretická část je rozdělena na několik kapitol. Antikoncepce je zde nejprve popsána obecně, rozdělena na jednotlivé druhy a jejich spolehlivost. V následujících kapitolách je pozornost věnovaná právě hormonální antikoncepci. Jsou zde popsány hormony estrogen a progestin, uvedena a objasněna často diskutovaná rizika hormonální antikoncepce, uvedeny absolutní i relativní kontraindikace. V práci je pozornost věnovaná i případným příznivým účinkům hormonální antikoncepce. V neposlední řadě se teoretická část zabývá popularitou hormonální antikoncepce, vztahu dospívajících dívek k ní a jejím místem ve výuce výchovy ke zdraví. Praktická část je zaměřena na informovanost, zkušenosti a názory studentek Pedagogické fakulty MU v Brně studujících program Výchova ke zdraví se zaměřením na vzdělávání. Odpovědi jsou získány pomocí dotazníkového šetření, v němž se zjišťuje i názor respondentek na informovanost mladých dívek o hormonální antikoncepci a na výuku o ní ve výchově ke zdraví.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the awareness of future teachers studying the full-time Health Education program with a focus on education, about the impact of hormonal contraception on women's health. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters. Contraception is first described here in general, divided into individual types and their reliability. In the following chapters, attention is paid to hormonal contraception. The hormones estrogen and progestin are described here, and the often discussed risks of hormonal contraception are listed and clarified, as well as absolute and relative contraindications. The work also pays attention to the possible beneficial effects of hormonal contraception. Last but not least, the theoretical part deals with the popularity of hormonal contraception, the relationship of adolescent girls to it and its place in the subject of health education. The practical part is focused on the information, experience and opinions of students of the Faculty of Education MU in Brno in the specialization in Health education program with a focus on education. The answers are obtained by means of a questionnaire survey, in which the respondents' opinion on the awareness of young girls about hormonal contraception and about teaching about it in Health Education is also ascertained.
