This thesis deals with book Purge by finnish author Sofi Oksanen, while focusing mainly on the period of the onset of communism in Estonia during and just after the second world war. Táto práca sa zaoberá dielom Očista od fínskej autorky Sofi Oksanen, pričom sa zameriava hlavne na obdobie nástupu komunizmu v Estónsku počas a tesne po druhej svetovej vojne. Cieľom práce je interpretovať autorkin postoj k tejto historickej udalosti a posúdiť, či je jej dielo dostatočne vierohodné.
