Function and significance of the romany language for culture selfidentification of the Roma in Pardubice
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá současnou situací života Romů v Pardubicích a zaměřuje se na reflexi toho, jaký význam zaujímá romský jazyk a kultura v životě těchto Romů. Práce se zabývá také vzájemnými vztahy mezi romským jazykem a kulturou. Cílem práce je popsat, jaký význam hraje romština v romské kultuře.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the current situation of life of the Roma in Pardubice and focuses on the reflection of what significance is the romany language and culture in the life of the Roma. The work also deals with the mutual relations between the romany language and culture. The aim of the work is to describe the importance of romany language in romany culture plays.
