Alcoholic Addiction with Particular Focus on the Repalse Triggers

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce řeší problematiku alkoholové závislosti se zaměřením na vznik recidivy. V teoretické části jsou sumarizovány nejdůležitější poznatky o alkoholové závislosti, příčinách jejího vzniku a důsledcích, a také jsou zde popsány možnosti a formy léčby. Člověk, který podstoupí kompletní protialkoholní léčbu, nemá zcela vyhráno, jelikož alkoholismus je v obrovském měřítku nemocí recidivující. A právě k otázce recidivy byla směřována empirická část práce, jejímž cílem bylo determinovat faktory ovlivňující její vznik. Výzkumné šetření bylo realizováno formou dotazníkového šetření, přičemž kritériem účasti respondentů byla opakovaná protialkoholní léčba z důvodu vzniklé recidivy. Zjištěné údaje byly následně analyzovány v širších souvislostech. Výsledky ukázaly, že vznik recidivy ovlivňuje celá řada činitelů, které jsou ve vzájemné interakci. V rámci stanovených podcílů byly shledány jisté společné znaky, charakteristické pro specifickou skupinu respondentů, jež jsou popsány ve zjištěných závěrech.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the issues related to alcoholism with a particular focus on the relapse. In the theoretical part of this paper, there are summarized the most important aspects of the alcohol addiction - the causes of alcoholism and its consequences, and several forms of treatments. Even the alcoholists who have been treated by a doctor are not necessarily fully recovered from the alcoholism because there is a high probability of the relapse. The empirical part of this thesis is dedicated to the alcoholic relapse and determination of its triggers. For the purposes of this thesis was made a survey research. The respondents who took the survey are only the patients who experienced the alcohol relapse and have been already treated. The research shows that there are many factors which are affecting the alcohol relapse. There were found some of the common characteristics which are related to the specific group of respondents. These characteristics are also described at the paper.
