The influence of stress on user´s personality living in Osek shelter

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci byla zkoumána problematika stresu a jeho vlivu na osobnost uživatele sociálních služeb. Naší snahou bylo zjistit zvláštnosti prožívání stresu u jedinců, kteří zažívají náročné životní situace jako uživatelé sociálního zařízení azylového domu. Teoretická část byla orientována na vymezení terminologie, která úzce souvisí s vybraným tématem. Patří sem: charakteristika epochy dospělosti, včetně jejich dílčích úseků a to rané, střední a starší dospělosti. Pozornost byla věnována náročným životním situacím a reakcím na ně. Popisujeme rovněž poslání azylového zařízení dle zákona o sociálních službách a bezdomovectví. Výzkumné šetření bylo realizováno pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu s klienty Azylového domu v Oseku. Výsledky našeho výzkumného šetření ukázaly, že je třeba uživatele azylového domu intensivně podporovat tak, aby se v budoucnu lépe adaptovali na zátěžové životní situace.

Abstract:

In this thesis was investigated the issue of stress and its impact on social services user's personality. The intention was to identify peculiarities of stress in subjects, who are experiencing stressful life as users of social facility - a shelter. The theoretical part was oriented on terminology, which is closely related with the theme. It includes: characterization of the epoch adulthood and their sub-sections, namely early, middle aged and older adults. Attention was focused on difficult life situations and responding to them. We also describe the mission of the asylum facility according to the Social Services Act and homelessness. The survey was carried out using qualitative research conducted with clients of a shelter in Osek. The results of the research showed that users should be intensively supported so they can better adapt to stressful life situations in the future.
