Hlavním cílem této práce je vymezení společných a rozdílných rysů prvních tří románů cyklu tzv. pozdních detektivních románů Josefa Škvoreckého a Zdeny Salivarové a jejich komparace s vybranými představiteli detektivního žánru v rámci kontextu českého a angloamerického.
