Abstract:

Úvod: Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na motivaci zdravotnického personálu pracujícího v paliativní péči. Tato péče zahrnuje komplexní péči o dětské pacienty, kteří bojují s život limitujícími, či život ohrožujícími onemocněními. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část se zabývá obecnými informacemi o dětské paliativní péči, o smrti a umírání a o jejich fázích. Dále se věnuje vývoji, vzniku a možnostem, ale také multidisciplinárnímu týmu odborníků. Cíl práce: Cíl práce je zaměřen na zjištění motivace zdravotnického personálu v dětské paliativní péči, na zmapování významu, který přikládají své práci a na detekování negativních faktorů, které je nejvíce ovlivňují. Dále rozpracovává problematiku motivace, významu a negativních faktorů. Snahou je zjistit, pomocí realizovaných rozhovorů, především jaká je motivace, jaký význam přikládají své práci a co je pro ně největší zátěží. Metodika: Pro praktickou část bylo zhotoveno pět polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s respondenty, kteří aktivně pracují v dětské paliativní péčí. Výsledky: Z výsledků je patrné, že předchozí zkušenosti s péčí o dětské pacienty je jeden z faktorů, které motivovaly zdravotníky k práci v dětské paliativní péči. Dále z rozhovorů vyplývá, že zdravotníci vnímají svou práci jako potřebnou a smysluplnou. V posledním cíli jsme zaznamenali, že jako hlavní negativní faktor zdravotníci vnímají nedostatek edukovaných ve zdravotnictví a to, že není legislativa. Závěr: V samém závěru se práce zamýšlí nad dalším rozpracováním tématu a přenesením zjištění do zdravotnické praxe. Současně je předložen návrh doporučení pro praktické použití.

Abstract:

Introduction: The bachelor thesis focuses on the motivation of healthcare staff working in palliative care. This care involves the complex care of pediatric patients struggling with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with general information about pediatric palliative care, death and dying and their stages. It also discusses the development, origins, and possibilities, as well as the multidisciplinary team of professionals. Aim of the thesis: The aim of the thesis is to identify the motivation of health professionals in pediatric palliative care, to map the importance they attach to their work and to detect the negative factors that most affect them. It further elaborates on the issues of motivation, importance, and negative factors. It seeks to find out, through the interviews carried out, above all what motivation they have, what importance they attach to their work and what is the greatest burden for them. Methodology: For the practical part, five semi-structured interviews were conducted with respondents who are actively working in children's palliative care. Results: The results show that previous experience with palliative care for pediatric patients is one of the factors that motivated health professionals to work in pediatric palliative care. Furthermore, the interviews show that health workers perceive their work as necessary and meaningful. In the last objective, we noted that health workers perceive the lack of educated health workers and the lack of legislation as the main negative factors. Conclusion: At the very end, the paper reflects on the further elaboration of the topic and the translation of the findings into healthcare practice. At the same time, a draft of recommendations for practical application is presented.
