History of Photography Use in Activities of Security Forces in Bohemia, Moravia, and Slovakia

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím fotografie v činnosti bezpečnostních složek. Cílem je shrnout poznatky o způsobu využití fotografie se zaměřením na dokumentační činnost, zejména z oblasti kriminalistiky, a dále na moderní technologie, které jsou používány v činnosti ostatních bezpečnostních složek. Práce pojednává o obecné historii vzniku fotografie a významných osobnostech, které ovlivnily proces a využití fotodokumentace až po současnost. Následuje vývoj a metody, které přispěly k bližšímu zkoumání či analýze důkazů. Autorka dále popisuje využití fotodokumentace v činnosti různých bezpečnostních složek a její praktické upotřebení v běžné praxi. Nezbytnou součást tvoří dokumentace místa činu s použitím různých způsobů dokumentace a její následné zpracování. Empirická část pojednává o výzkumném vyhotovení kriminalistické fotodokumentace z místa činu s orientováním na problematiku zjištěnou během focení. Výsledkem závěrečné práce jsou poznatky a doporučení možných změn při práci kriminalistických techniků.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the use of photography in the activities of security forces. The aim is to summarize knowledge about the use of photography with a focus on documentation activities, especially in the field of criminology, as well as on modern technologies that are used in the activities of other security forces. The thesis deals with the general history of the origin of photography and personalities who have influenced the process and use of photo documentation up to the present. Enable the development and methods that have contributed to a closer examination or analysis of the evidence. The author also describes the use of photo documentation in the activities of various security forces and its practical use in everyday practice. An essential part is the documentation of the crime scene using various methods of documentation and its subsequent processing. The empirical part deals with the research version of forensic photo documentation from the crime scene with an orientation on the issues identified during the photo shoot. The findings and recommendations of possible final changes in the work of forensic technicians are presented.
