Ageing as a risk factor of the growth of public expenditure

Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce je snaha zachycení demografických změn v populaci.a jejich vlivu na veřejné výdaje. Hlavní sledovanou věkovou kategorií byly občané starší 60 let. Vzájemné vztahy mezi touto sledovanou skupinou občanů a jejich vlivu na veřejné výdaje byly zkoumány pomocí metod komparace, korelace, regrese, syntézy a analýzy. Práce vymezuje základní demografické pojmy – obyvatelstvo, živě narození, úmrtnost, index závislosti starých, ekonomické zatížení. V praktické části došlo k určitému zmapování aktuálního stavu a předpokládaného budoucího vývoje při zachování současných podmíne

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is a study of intercepting demographic changes in population and their effect on public expenditure. Citizens above the age of 60 were the main watched age category. Interrelationship between this watched category of citizens and their effect on public expenditure were investigated by the following methods: comparison, correlation, regression, synthesis and analysis. The thesis defines the basic demographic terms – population, born alive, death rate, dependability of long lived index, economic burden. In the practical part, there has been a mapping done of the actual situation and expected future development at maintaining current conditions
