Bakalářská práce se zabývá onemocněním demence, je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část rozebírá pojem demence, jeho význam, příčiny, příznaky, výskyt, dělení i diagnostiku onemocnění. Dále se zaměřuje na prevenci a léčbu onemocnění. The bachelor thesis deals with the disease of the dementia. It is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis analyses the concept of the dementia, its meaning, causes, symptoms, the occurrence, the division and diagnosis of this disease.
