Imunitní reakci u rostlin spojenou s rezistencí vůči patogenům vyvolávají látky, které souhrnně nazýváme elicitory. Mezi elicitory patří také malé proteiny elicitiny, které jsou produkované oomycetami rodu Phytophthora a Pythium. Abstract:
Plant immunity connected with resistance against pathogens is induced by substances called elicitors. Elicitors include small proteins elicitins secreted by the oomycetes Phytophthora and Pythium. One of the elicitins is oligandrin, a 10 kDa protein isolated from the oomycete Pythium oligandrum.
