Teoretická část představuje rodinu, její podoby a proměny v průběhu historie, věnuje se obsahu a jednotlivým aspektům prarodičovské role a současně ji srovnává s dobou minulou, kdy současní prarodiče byli dětmi. This thesis deals with a historical comparison of the role of grandparent in childcare. The theoretical part introduces the family, its forms and changes throughout the history. It studies contents and individual aspects of the role of grandparent while comparing it with the times when current grandparents used to be children themselves.
