Trend analysis of revenue and expeditore budget of the Slovak Republic

Abstract:

Annotation BRIEDIKOVÁ, Ingrid: Analysis of development of state budget revenues and expenditures in the Slovak Republic. [Diploma Thesis]. Banking Institute/College of Banking (BICB) Prague, Foreign University Banská Bystrica. Department of Finance and Accounting. Thesis supervisor: Ing. Lenka Ostrožlíková. Habilitation year: 2012. Number of pages: 71 This diploma thesis is aimed at a theme of development of the Slovak Republic´s state budget revenues and expenditures with the emphasis on the analysis of factors causing main changes of its development.Focus is primarily oriented to a factor of the recent economic crisis, where the theses identifies impact of the crisisand evaluates effectiveness of the government actions implementedfor the purposes of finance consolidation. The first chapter is focused on general characteristics of public finance and fiscal policy. The second chapter opens the theme of state budget,defines basic terms and describes the state budget from the viewpoint of a national legislation. The third chapter analyses the development ofstate budget revenues and expenditures during a period between 2000 and 2010 and identifies the factors of influence. In the concluding part of this chapter the economic crisis´ impacts and accepted government actions made for public finance consolidation are assessed

Anotácia BRIEDIKOVÁ, Ingrid: Analýza vývoja príjmov a výdavkov štátneho rozpočtu SR. [Diplomová práca]. Bankovní institut vysoká škola Praha, zahraničná vysoká škola Banská Bystrica. Katedra financií a účtovníctva. Vedúci práce: Ing. Lenka Ostrožlíková. Rok obhajoby: 2012.Počet strán: 71 Diplomová práca sa zaoberá vývojom príjmov a výdavkov štátneho rozpočtu Slovenskej republiky, pričom sú v nej analyzované faktory spôsobujúce hlavné zmeny v tomto vývoji. Primárne je pozornosť venovaná faktoru ekonomickej krízy, kde práca jednak identifikuje dopady krízy a tiež hodnotí efektivitu vládnych opatrení vykonaných za účelom konsolidácie financií. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na všeobecnú charakteristiku verejných financií a fiškálnej politiky. Druhá kapitola rozoberá problematiku štátneho rozpočtu, vymedzuje základné pojmy súvisiace s touto témou a tiež sa orientuje na jej úpravu v legislatíve. Tretia kapitola prináša analýzu príjmov a výdavkov štátneho rozpočtu za obdobie od roku 2000 do 2010 a identifikuje faktory vplyvu. V záverečnej časti kapitoly sú hodnotené dopady ekonomickej krízy a prijaté opatrenia pre konsolidáciu verejných financií.
