The manor of Buchlovice in the early modern period

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Buchlovské panství v raném novověku se zabývá především rozborem urbáře z roku 1611. Účelem práce je charakterizovat a popsat sociální a hospodářské poměry na buchlovském panství na počátku 17. století. První část práce zahrnuje rozbor pramenů a literatury. Dále je zde nastíněn vývoj panství od prvních písemných zmínek o hradu Buchlov po jeho zestátnění. Zvláštní kapitola je zde věnována pánům ze Zástřizl, kteří měli panství v držení od druhé poloviny 16. století do první poloviny 17. století. Další část obsahuje informace o poddaných a jejich skladbě, lovcích a loveckých soudech na Buchlově, o stálých a běžných platech, naturálních dávkách a robotních povinnostech, které museli poddaní vykonávat. Poslední část práce se zaměřuje na popis a zhodnocení režijního hospodářství na buchlovském panství.

Abstract:

The master’s theses The Buchlov Manor in the Early Modern Age mainly deals with the analysis of the urbary from 1611. The purpose of the thesis is to characterize and describe the social and economic conditions on the Buchlov Manor at the beginning of the 17th century. The first part of the work includes an analysis of sources and literature. Secondly, the development of the estate from the first written mentions of Buchlov Castle to its nationalization is outlined here. A special chapter is dedicated here to The House of Zástřizl, who held the estate from the second half of the 16th century to the first half of the 17th century. The next part contains information about the subjects, their composition, hunters and hunting courts in Buchlov, about permanent and regular salaries, benefits in kind and labor duties that the subjects had to perform. The last part of the work focuses on the description and evaluation of overhead management on the Buchlov estate.
