Kinematics Running Symmetry in athletes with a history of Achilles tendon rupture

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou, zda jsou u sportovců při běhu rozdíly mezi končetinou zdravou, dříve nezraněnou bez závažnějších zdravotních potíží a končetinou po ruptuře a operaci Achillovy šlachy. Zaměřili jsme se především na dopad, první kontakt chodidla s podložkou a jejich úhly v hlezenním kloubu, zda existuje rozdíl v kinematice běhu mezi končetinou po ruptuře Achillovy šlachy a končetinou bez zranění. Pro měření byli vybráni převážně rekreační sportovci, kteří mají po operaci Achillovy šlachy a pro porovnání 4 jedinci do kontrolní skupiny. Všichni probandi podstoupili dvě měření v Centru diagnostiky lidského těla v Ostravě. Jedno měření se skládalo z rozhovorů, vyplnění dotazníků, měření úhlů v hlezenním kloubu, chůze a běhu po silových podložkách a při druhém měření byla u všech jedinců změřena délka Achillovy šlachy pomocí sonografu. První část práce je zaměřena především teoreticky. Jednotlivá témata byla vybrána a informace shromážděny tak, aby úzce souvisely s názvem diplomové práce a popsaly vše, co s během a Achillovou šlachou souvisí. Druhá část je praktická a podává informace o tom, jakým způsobem byla data získána a zpracována, popisuje průběh výzkumu a subjekty, s kterými jsme spolupracovali.

Abstract:

This diploma work deals with the issue, whether during the run there are differences between sportsman?s healthy limb, previously unhurt and without any significant health troubles, and the limb after the rupture and subsequent surgery of Achilles tendon. First of all we focused on impact, the first contact of the sole with the ground and their angles in the ankle joint, if there is in the run kinematics any difference in between the limb after the Achilles tendon rupture and the limb without any injury. For the observation we selected mainly recreation sportsmen being after the Achilles tendon surgery, and for the confrontation another 4 individuals into the control group. All tested probands underwent two observations at the Human Body Diagnostics Center in Ostrava. One observation consisted of interviews, filling out of questionnaires, angular measuring within the ankle joint, walk and run on power pad. The second observation consisted of measurement of the Achilles tendon length at all individuals through the use of sonograph. The first part of the work is theoretical primarily. Individual topics were selected and information collected in order to relate closely to the title of the diploma work and describe all what is related to the run and the Achilles tendon. The second part is a practical one and brings information about the method used at the data collection and processing, describes the research process and subjects we worked with.
