European Life University. History without Borders.

Abstract:

Projekt Evropská univerzita vznikl s cílem vytvořit centralizovaný, znalostní informační systém, jež by obsahoval závěrečné univerzitní práce v oblasti historie na evropském teritoriu. Smyslem je zajistit jakési historické online centrum, dostupné k prohlížení bez jakýchkoli restrikcí odkudkoli. Jako mozaika kultur a tradicí, Evropa stojí na jednotných kulturních pilířích, a evropské země historicky sdílejí mnohé. Tento projekt zaručí přístup k odborným pramenům a informacím, jakožto první pokus k propojení mnohonárodnostní kultury díky historii. Tak bude evropským studentům zpřístupněna široká zásoba přesných informací, jakožto i možnost interakce, výměny názorů a sdílení znalostí (které se mohou mnohdy lišit v závislosti na úhlu pohledu, který pro interpretaci zkoumané látky zvolíme). Učitelé, kromě možností uvedených výše, budou moci otestovat studentské práce proti plagiátorství a kontrolovat jejich originalitu. Univerzity získají nástroj, díky němuž bude možné porovnávat jejich výzkum i systém vzdělávání. Ostatní uživatelé této webové platformy budou mít dále jedinečnou šanci spojit se s nadějnými talenty v oboru historie a těžit z hodnotného výzkumu napříč Evropou.

Abstract:

The European Live University project has the purpose of creating a centralized knowledge based e-system, reuniting university history theses across Europe with the sole purpose of providing a history hub, accessible for viewing without any restrictions from anywhere. As a mosaic of cultures and traditions, Europe is based on common cultural pillars, and European countries share a lot in common in their history. This project will provide access to specialized resources and information, constituting the first attempt of interlinking multinational culture through history. This will enable European students in having access to a wider pool of accurate information and to interact, exchange views and share knowledge which often differs based on the angle of interpretation. Teachers, besides the opportunities mentioned above, will have a possibility of testing if certain theses are original. Universities will be provided with a tool which enables an easy comparison of the research topics and their system of education in general. Other externals accessing this web-based platform will gain a unique chance to connect with the young talents in the history field and to draw valuable academic research.
