Inventory of Assets and Liabilities in the Selected Contributory Organization

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou procesu inventarizace majetku a závazků ve zvolené příspěvkové organizaci. Zvolený problém byl řešen v teoretické části objasněním základních pojmů spojených s inventarizací v souladu s legislativou platnou pro vybrané účetní jednotky a s postupy doporučenými v odborné literatuře. Praktická část je zaměřená na analýzu procesu inventarizace majetku a závazků ve zvolené příspěvkové organizaci a porovnání postupů a průběhu inventarizace se zákonnými normami. Byl zde konkretizován veškerý majetek a závazky, které vstupují do inventarizace a průběh celého jejího procesu. V navrženém řešení byly zhodnoceny přednosti a nedostatky procesu inventarizace, které poslouží příspěvkové organizaci k jejímu zefektivnění. Dalším výsledkem práce bylo zpracování směrnice pro inventarizaci majetku a závazků, tiskopisů pro inventurní soupisy a návodu k proškolení inventarizačních komisí, jež příspěvková organizace využije pro svou potřebu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with analysing the inventory process of assets and liabilities in a selected contributory organisation. The selected problem was addressed in the theoretical part by explaining the basic concepts related to inventory in accordance with the legislation applicable to the selected accounting units and with procedures recommended in the literature. The practical part is focused on analysing the inventory process of assets and liabilities in the selected contributory organization and the comparison of inventory procedures and processes with legal standards. All assets and liabilities that entered the inventory process and the process itself were further specified. The proposed solution evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the inventory process, which will serve to make the contributing organisation more efficient. An additional output of the thesis was the preparation of a guideline for the inventory of assets and liabilities, forms for inventory lists and instructions for training inventory committees, which the contributory organisation will use for its own purposes.
