Artificial light in audiovisual communication

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na nejdůležitější poznatky v oblasti umělého osvětlování v audiovizuální komunikaci a jejich využití v praxi. Teoretická část seznamuje především s technickými fakty, tedy vlastnostmi světla a osvětlovací technikou. Následně shrnuje základy umělého osvětlování, kdy definuje hlavní osvětlovací složky a věnuje se problematice osvětlování podle velikosti záběru a různé světelné atmosféry. Praktická část detailně popisuje postup při osvětlování konkrétních audiovizuálních děl od návrhu přes přípravu až po natáčení.

Abstract:

The work focuses on the most important knowledge in the field of artificial lighting in audiovisual communication and its use in practice. The theoretical part acquaints mainly with technical facts, i.e., the properties of light and lighting equipment. It then summarizes the basics of artificial lighting, defining the main lighting components and addresses the issue of lighting according to the type of shot and different light atmospheres. The practical part describes in detail the procedure for lighting specific audiovisual works from design through preparation to filming.
