Marketing activities of art therapists based in Prague

Anotace:

Diplomová práce se věnuje arteterapii, tedy terapeutickému přístupu a souboru metod používaných v sociální práci, v pedagogice, ve zdravotnictví a v dalších oborech zaměřených na práci s klientem. Práce si klade za cíl zmapovat specifika marketingových aktivit arteterapeutů, která s sebou přináší mezioborové postavení arteterapie a absence legislativního ukotvení profese arteterapeuta. Cíle je dosaženo prostřednictvím rešerše odborných knižních a internetových zdrojů a vlastního kvalitativního výzkumu s využitím expertních polostrukturovaných interview s poskytovateli arteterapie. Data jsou dále analyzována prostřednictvím ručně prováděné transkripce interview s využitím metody vytváření typologií s primární a sekundární interpretací dat. Výsledky práce jsou využitelné jakožto marketingový průzkum konkurence či jako podklad pro definování potřeby legislativního ukotvení arteterapie. Z výsledků výzkumu vyplývá, že arteterapeuti využívají minimum marketingových nástrojů a že se vlivem absence legislativního ukotvení arteterapie významně odlišují v použití arteterapeutických metod a klientele je tak poskytován poměrně nepřehledný soubor informací o možnostech arteterapie.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with art therapy - the therapeutic approach and set of methods used in social working, education, healthcare and other fields specialising in working with the client. The thesis aims to cover the specifics of the marketing activities of art therapists, which are burdened by the inter-field position of art therapy and the absence of any legislative basis for the profession of art therapist. The thesis utilises both printed and online academic sources, as well author's own qualitative research through expert semi-structured interviews with art therapy providers. The data is further analysed through manual interview transcription and the method for creation typologies with primary and secondary data interpretation. The result of this thesis is used as a marketing research of competition or as foundation for defining the legislative basis of art therapy. Research suggests that art therapists use minimum amounts of marketing tools and significantly differ in used art therapeutic methods as a result of the absenting legislative basis. Clients are therefore provided with a relatively unstable set of information about the possibilities of art therapy.
