The river Labe regulation project. Ekonomic benefits of building a water channel in Prelouc and its effects on the environment.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je věnována problematice splavnění Labe do Pardubic a s tím spojeným projektem výstavby Plavebního stupně Přelouč II. První část obsahuje teoretické vymezení vodní dopravy a jejího významu v rámci dopravní politiky České republiky i v rámci Evropské unie. Částečně je zde zmíněna problematika udržitelného rozvoje. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na vliv dopravy jako takové na životní prostředí. Třetí, praktická část, pojednává již konkrétně o problematice splavnění Labe, eko-nomickými přínosy pro region a vlivy na životní prostředí.

Abstract:

This bachelor work focuses on questions related to the regulation of the river Labe as it passes Pardubice and the project to contruct a channel in Přelouč, which is part of it. The first part of this work looks at the theory of water carriage and its importance in transport policy of Czech Republic and European Union. The theory of sustainable development is explained in the context of this subject. The second part relates impact of transport on the environment. The third, practical part is concerned with examining the issues relating to the river Labe regulations, the economic benefits for the region and the effects on the environment.
