Different rehabilitation approaches for complex knee injuries in professional and amateur athletes: clinical case.

Abstract:

In this content we will talk about a clinical case consisting of the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament, of two sports subjects, one professional and one amateur and we will examine the rehabilitation program, consisting of different phases, from the recovery of the ROM to the recovery of proprioception, to rehabilitation in water and finally to re-athleticisation. Having initially examined the anatomical and physiological components of the joint, it will be possible to ascertain the effectiveness of the rehabilitation according to the therapeutic plan agreed with the orthopedist and completed, as expected, in five months.

Abstract:

In questo contenuto parleremo di un caso clinico costituito dalla rottura del legamento crociato anteriore, di due soggetti sportivi, uno professionista ed uno amatoriale e ne esamineremo il programma riabilitativo, costituito da diverse fasi, dal recupero del ROM, al recupero della propriocezione, alla riabilitazione in acqua ed infine alla riatletizzazione. Esaminate inizialmente le componenti anatomiche e fisiologiche dell'articolazione, sar? possibile appurare l'efficacia della riabilitazione secondo il piano terapeutico concordato con l'ortopedico e terminato, come previsto, in cinque mesi.
