This thesis describes the Image of Italy in E.M. Forster's novels, this theme is introduced mainly from the point of view of the characters and what Italy means to them. The thesis presents also the writer's ideas and experience from Italian environment. The main focus is on his novels The Room with a View and Where the Angles Fear to tread.
