Respectful versus direspectful parenting

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá nerespektující a respektující výchovou, jejími projevy a možnými dopady. Cílem práce je zjistit, který z těchto dvou výchovných přístupů rodiče volí a proč, a zda jsou schopni reflektovat svou výchovu. Vyhodnocení probíhalo na základě dotazníkového šetření, do kterého se zapojilo 969 respondentů a výsledky ukazují, že rodiče preferují respektující výchovný přístup, jsou si vědomi možných dopadů výchovy a projevují značnou reflexi svého chování a výchovných metod. V závěru jsou uvedeny stručné návrhy, jak by bylo možné podpořit rodiče v osvětě a vzdělávání ohledně výchovy dětí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with disrespectful and respectful parenting, its manifestations and possible impacts. The aim of the thesis is to find out which of these two educational approaches parents choose and why, and whether they are able to reflect on their education. The evaluation was based on a questionnaire survey, which involved 969 respondents and the results show that parents prefer a respectful parenting approach, are aware of the possible effects of education and show considerable reflection on their behavior and educational methods. Finally, there are brief suggestions on how to support parents in raising children.
