Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá perzekucí šlechty v Československu za doby trvání komunismu v Československu v letech 1948 až 1969. Práce neopomíjí ani postavení šlechty v první polovině 20. století a restituce šlechty uskutečněné na počátku 90. let 20. století. Perzekuce je popsána na dvou příkladech šlechticů. Prvním je politický proces s Arnoštem Schwarzenbergem proběhlý v roce 1953. Druhým příkladem je Kryštof Kolowrat-Krakoský se svými rodiči. Na jeho příkladu je popsána perzekuce rodiny a fenomén Pomocných technických praporů v Československu. V neposlední řadě se práce zabývá soudobými diskuzemi na téma totalitarismu v Československu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the persecution of the nobility in Czechoslovakia during the period of communism in Czechoslovakia from 1948 until 1969. The work also takes into account the position of the nobility in the first half of the 20th century as well as the restitution of the nobility made in the early 90s of the 20th century. Persecution is described in two examples of the nobles. The first is a political process with (Ernst) Arnošt Schwarzenberg that took place in 1953. The second is Kryštof Kolowrat-Krakowský and his parents. His example describes the persecution of the family and the phenomenon of the Auxiliary Technical Battalions in Czechoslovakia. Finally, the work deals with contemporary discussions on the topic of totalitarianism in Czechoslovakia.
