Climate survey of pupils with special educational needs by questionnaire CES

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá uplatnitelností zkrácené verze standardního dotazníku CES ve třídách se žáky se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami a zjišťuje, zda je CES v této podobě vhodný pro screening klimatu těchto typů tříd. Teoretická část práce se věnuje základním informacím, jež jsou spojené s problematikou školního a třídního klimatu, osvětluje základní pojmy, představuje základní typy klimatu, vymezuje hlavní spolutvůrce třídního klimatu a zmiňuje faktory ovlivňující klima třídy. Samostatná kapitola se věnuje klimatu tříd u žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami, vymezena je problematika specifických poruch chování, jsou zmíněna specifika vzdělávání žáků s touto poruchou. Další oddíl pak nabízí přehled hlavních přístupů ke zkoumání třídního klimatu, rozdělení výzkumných metod a seznámení s výzkumným nástrojem, jež byl použit při našem výzkumu. V praktické části práce je vymezen cíl výzkumu, podrobně je popsána metoda CES, jejíž uplatnitelnost jsme zkoumali v námi vybraném vzorku tříd se žáky se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. Stěžejní část práce představuje vymezení dílčích hypotéz, jež jsou následně ověřovány pomocí získaných výsledků. Na základě těchto dat jsou pak vyvozovány závěry o použitelnosti dotazníku CES u žáků se SPUCH.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused the applicability of the short version of CES questionnaire in classrooms with students with special educational needs and determines whether the CES in its short version is suitable for climate screening of such classrooms. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with basic information connected to the issue of the school climate and the classroom climate, explains the basic concepts, introduces the basic types of the climate, defines the main co-creators of the classroom climate and indentifies the factors affecting the classroom climate. A separate chapter is devoted to the climate of classrooms with student with special educational needs; the issue of specific behavioural disorders is defined as well as the specific features of education of students with such disorders. Another section provides an overview of the main approaches to research of the classroom climate, division of the research methods and introduction of the research tool that have been used for conducting our research. The practical part of the thesis defines the research objective and describes the CES method which applicability we have examined in our sample of classrooms with students with special educational needs in detail. The fundamental part of the thesis specifies the component hypothesis to be verified using the results obtained. Conclusions on the applicability of the CES questionnaire for the students with special educational needs are then drawn based on the data above.
