Hydrokinesitherapy compared with Maitland Concept of Manual Therapy Treatment for the Supraspinatus Tendonitis.

Abstract:

The tendinitis of the supraspinatus is defined as an inflammation of the aforesaid tendon that causes an arc of movement painful, in particular in the movements of abduction and elevation of the arm; the pain appears already in the middle of the range of motion. It is usually the result of chronic wear of the supraspinatus tendon due to its passage and slide under the acromion and due to repeated movements over time. It?s a very common medical condition that appears in the population aged between 25 and 60 years, in men and women. The congenital or traumatic alteration of the bone parts can be a contributing factor to the onset of the disease.

Abstract:

La tendinite del sovraspinoso ? definita come un?infiammazione del suddetto tendine che provoca un arco di movimento doloroso, in particolare nei movimenti di abduzione ed elevazione del braccio; il dolore compare gi? a met? del range di movimento. Solitamente ? il risultato di un?usura cronica del tendine del sovraspinoso dovuta al suo passaggio e scorrimento sotto l?acromion. E? una condizione patologica molto frequente che compare nella popolazione di et? compresa tra i 25 e i 60 anni, in uomini e donne. L?alterazione congenita o traumatica delle parti ossee pu? essere un fattore contribuente all?insorgenza della patologia.
