Use of newly bred varieties of vine

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma využití nově vyšlechtěných odrůd révy vinné pojednává v rovině teoretické o původu révy vinné a historii vinařství na našem území. Dále se práce zaměřuje na odrůdy, jejich členění a vznik. Práce také poukazuje na vhodné přírodní podmínky v Moravské vinařské oblasti, důvody a přínosy šlechtění, stručný přehled odrůd vyšlechtěných v České republice, ale rovněž na kritéria pro registraci odrůdy do Státní odrůdové knihy České republiky. V praktické části se autorka zaměřila na zkušenosti s pěstováním, oblíbeností a prodejností, ale také předpovědí dalšího možného vývoje odrůdy Florianka. Všechna tato data byla analyzována na základě interview s vinaři. Dále je součástí práce dotazníkový průzkum, díky němuž bylo zjištěno, jak je chuť odrůdy oblíbená v očích veřejnosti nebo potencionálních spotřebitelů. Výzkum zjišťuje, zda by odrůda Florianka měla potenciál pro uplatnění v gastronomii.

Abstract:

The Use of Newly Bred Vine Varieties bachelor thesis talks theoretically about the origins of vine and about the history of winemaking in our geographical area. The thesis focuses on the vine varieties – their division and origin. The text discusses suitable natural conditions of the Moravian wine region, the reasons and advantages of breeding, simple overview of varieties bred in Czech Republic and last but not least the criteria to register a vine variety with the State Variety List of Czech Republic. The practical section is focused on experiences with breeding, popularity and marketability but also on the forecasting of the possible evolution of Florianka variety. All the data was analyzed based on interviews with winegrowers. The thesis also includes a separate questionnaire that provided the data for determining the most favorite taste among public as potential customers. The poll analyzed if Florianka has a potential to become successful in the gastronomy market.
