Influence of an integrated transport system on the development of transport service in a region

Abstract:

Disertační práce je zaměřena na IDS a jeho vliv na rozvoj dopravní obslužnosti regionu. Nejprve je řešena otázka legislativy v oblasti IDS a veřejné dopravy, pak následuje analýza současného stavu veřejné dopravy v EU a v Česku. Zároveň je zde analyzován stav největších IDS na území ČR a uveden přehled dalších IDS respektive dopravních svazů v zahraničí. Dále je zhodnocen stav jednotlivých IDS a role železnice v těchto systémech. Před samotným zhodnocením vlivu IDS na rozvoj dopravní obslužnosti konkrétního regionu je navržen obecný postup, jak toto hodnocení provádět.

Abstract:

The dissertation work is focused on the influence of an integrated transport systems on the development of transport services in a region. At first the analysis of current state of legislative concerned to public transport and transport services is provided. Then follows the analysis of the state-of-art of ITS in the Czech Republic and EU. ITS in the Czech Republic and the position of railway transport in these systems are evaluated in the next part. Before the final evaluation of influence of ITS on development of transport services in the chosen region, the general methodology for it is proposed.
