Cílem této bakalářské práce je prozkoumání vztahu mezi emocí strachu a hororovým žánrem s důrazem na monstra, kterými je horor tak proslulý. Tato práce se skládá z části teoretické a analytické. Teoretická část zkoumá horor jako žánr a funkci kte-rou v něm právě monstra zastávají. Také obsahuje kapitoly o depresi a generačním traumatu, které se pojí k analytické části. This thesis aims to examine the relationship between the emotion of fear and the horror genre, focusing on the monsters horror is so famous for. The thesis consists of two sections: theoretical and analytical. The theoretical part examines horror as a genre and the role of monsters within it.
