Biofuels - Challenges and problems in applying them to global markets

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá aktuálním stavem využití biopaliv v dopravě a také přehledem obchodu s biopalivy v České republice, v Evropské unii a ve vybraných státech světa, kterými jsou Argentina a Brazílie. V práci jsou uvedeny základní charakteristiky a výrobní postupy nejčastěji používaných biopaliv. Rovněž je zde uveden přehled legislativy týkající se biopaliv ve výše uvedených zemích. Práce také poskytuje rozbor problémů vzniklých používáním biopaliv a výhled jejich využití v budoucnosti.

Abstract:

This work is engaged with the current state of biofuel usage in transportation and summary of trade with biofuel in the Czech Republic, European Union and in selected countries of the world, namely Argentina and Brazil. The basic characteristics and manufacturing processes of most commonly used biofuel are presented in this work. There is also an overview of legislation on biofuel in the above mentioned countries. The work also provides an analysis of the problems arising from usage of biofuel and the perspective of their usage in the future.
