Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá českými překlady invektiv a vulgarismů v 15 vybraných básních z díla Gaia Valeria Catulla. Práce rozebírá věcný význam a expresivitu vulgarismů v latinském originále a dále zkoumá způsoby jejich převedení v českých překladech z 20., resp. 21. století. This bachelor thesis focuses on the Czech translation of insulting language in 15 selected poems by Gaius Valerius Catullus. The thesis analyses the substantive meaning and expressiveness of offensive expressions in the original text and further examines the way they have been translated.
