The Syntax of Texts in British Literature for Children
Abstract:
Podám stručný přehled o syntaktické struktuře anglických vět. Vyberu šest anglických knih britské literatury pro děti z období 18., 19., 20. století. Provedu jejich syntaktickou analýzu. Zjistím frekvenci struktur jednoduchých vět a souvětí, provedu srovnání knih z hlediska větných typů a z hlediska složitosti větných struktur. Analýza bude doplněna o grafy a tabulky s výsledky.
Abstract:
I will make a brief survey of syntactic structure of English sentences. I will choose six English books of British literature for children from the period of 18th , 19th and 20th century. I will carry out their syntactic analysis. I will find out frequency of structures of simple and complex clauses then I compare the books from the point of view of clause types and complexity of clause structures …more
