The Modern Greek short story: Easter in April by Sotiris Dimitriu
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá povídkou jako literárním žánrem, jejím vznikem a charakteristikou. Zaměřuje se na vývoj novořecké povídky. Součástí práce je také překlad povídky Πάσχα τ' Απρίλη (Velikonoce v dubnu) od Sotirise Dimitriu (Σωτήρης Δημητρίου). Dále se věnuje teorii překladu, komentáři k překladu a rozboru vybrané povídky.
Abstract:
The Bachelor thesis deals with the short story as a literary genre, with its origin and characteristics. It is focused on the development of the Modern Greek short story. The thesis includes the translation of the short story called Πάσχα τ' Απρίλη (Easter in April) written by Sotiris Dimitriou (Σωτήρης Δημητρίου).
