Hypertension in pregnancy and its influence to mother and baby

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá hypertenzí v těhotenství a jejím dopadem na matku a dítě. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je popsána problematika krevního tlaku, jeho fyziologie, patologie, možnosti měření a léčby. V dalších kapitolách je stručně popsáno těhotenství a změny, které v tomto období vznikají. Změny jsou zaměřené především na kardiovaskulární systém. Konec teoretické části je uzavřen informacemi o metodách zhodnocení adaptace novorozence v poporodním období. V praktické části je použita metoda kvalitativního i kvantitativního výzkumu. Informace nutné pro výzkum byly získány pomocí dotazníků, nahlížení do dokumentace a sledování stavu novorozence. Cílem bylo zjistit, jestli hypertenze v těhotenství má dopad na prospívání novorozence po porodu. U zkoumaného vzorku žen s hypertenzí v těhotenství nedošlo u novorozenců k patologiím, které by vedly k jejich neprospívání. Dalším cílem bylo zjistit informovanost žen o problematice hypertenze v těhotenství. Informovanost byla zjišťována od matek rodících v Nemocnici Milosrdných bratří v Brně. Z výsledků vyplynulo, že jsou matky dostatečně informované o této problematice.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with hypertension in pregnancy and its impact on mother and baby. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical one describes the problems of blood pressure, its physiology, pathology, treatment options and measurements. In other chapters briefly described pregnancy and the changes that occur during this period. The changes are mainly focused on the cardiovascular system. The end of the theoretical part is closed by information on methods of evaluating adaptation of the newborn after delivery. In the practical part I used the method of qualitative and quantitative research. Informations needed for the research were obtained through questionnaires, access to documentation and monitoring of the newborn. The objective was to determine whether hypertension in pregnancy has an impact on thriving newborn after birth. In the sample of women with hypertension in pregnancy prevent neonatal pathologies, which would lead to their failure to thrive. Another objective was to determine the women on the issue of hypertension in pregnancy. Awareness was assessed by mothers giving birth in the Merciful Brothers´Hospital in Brno. The results showed that mothers are well informed about this issue.
