Nursing Care Plan for a Patient in Bariatric Surgery

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vytvoření obecného plánu ošetřovatelské péče pro pacienty v bariatrické chirurgii. Konkrétně pro pacienty, kteří jsou po gastrickém bypassu na jednotce intenzivní péče a poté na standardním chirurgickém oddělení. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a na část praktickou. Úvod teoretické části je věnován bariatrické chirurgii, její historii, indikacím k bariatrickému výkonu, kontraindikacím a také přípravě pacienta na operační výkon. Další kapitola je věnovaná jednotlivým operačním výkonům. Každý operační výkon je stručně popsán včetně pooperačních komplikací a u každého výkonu je objasněna následná ošetřovatelská péče. V praktické části je navržen obecný plán ošetřovatelské péče pro pacienty po gastrickém bypassu. Je zaměřený na pobyt pacienta na jednotce intenzivní péče a poté na standardním chirurgickém oddělení. V plánu péče je popsána celková péče o pacienty v pooperačním období. Dále jsou pro pooperační období u jednotlivých domén dle NANDA International Taxonomie III. Navrženy vhodné ošetřovatelské diagnózy. U každé diagnózy jsou stanoveny cíle péče a uvedeny příslušné ošetřovatelské intervence.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on creating a general plan of nursing care for patients in bariatric surgery. Specifically, for patients who are following gastric bypass surgery Intensive Care Unit and then to the standard surgical ward. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Introduction The theoretical part is devoted to bariatric surgery, its history, indications for bariatric performance, contraindications and prepare the patient for surgery. Another chapter is devoted to each operating performance. Each surgery is briefly described, including postoperative complications and each performance is illustrated by subsequent nursing care. In the practical part, the general plan of nursing care for patients after gastric bypass. It focuses on the patient's stay in the Intensive Care Unit and then on a standard surgical ward. The care plan is described total care of patients in the postoperative period. Further, the postoperative period for the individual domains by NANDA International Taxonomy III. Designed appropriate nursing diagnoses. For each diagnosis, objectives are set out relevant care and nursing interventions.
