Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je vytvoření interpretačního schématu, s jehož využitím jsou analyzovány degenerativní tendence, které lze pozorovat v současné západní společnosti. Úpadkové činitele jsou pojmenovány a jsou formulovány argumenty dokazující jejich rozpornost s konstitutivními principy západní společnosti. V první části práce jsou rozlišeny pojmy kultura a civilizace. Dále je vymezen termín dějinnosti, z nějž vyplývá, že tato charakteristika je vlastní pouze západní civilizaci. Koncept počátku dějin (Hegel, Patočka) je doplněn o kumulativistické pojetí dějinného pohybu, které je završeno hegelovsko-fukuyamovským koncem dějin, který je zároveň označen za jejich vrchol. Tento vrchol je koncipován jako kombinace liberální demokracie a kapitalismu volné tržní soutěže. Kladen je také důraz na charakteristiku individualismu, protestantské etiky a antikapitalistické mentality. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na analyzování nejvýznamnějších degenerativních činitelů, za které je považován multikulturalismus, politická korektnost, sociální determinismus, postmodernismus a současný koncept Evropské unie. S využitím vytvořeného konceptuálního schématu je dokázáno, že zkoumaní degenerativní činitelé zapříčiňují vzdalování se pozici konce-vrcholu dějin, jež může skončit zánikem západu.

Abstract:

Goal of thesis is to create interpretative schematics and utilizing it to analyze degenerative tendencies observable in western society. Factors of decay were labeled and arguments proving their conflict with constitutional principles with western society defined. First part of thesis differentiates between terms culture and civilization. Further are defined terms of historicity from which results that this attribute is own only to western civilization. Beginning of history concept (Hegel, Patočka) is further extended by cumulativistic concept of historical movement, which is completed with Hegel-Fukuyama concept of history, marked as the peak of the concepts. This peak is conceived as combination of liberal democracy and free market capitalism. Emphasis is as well put on characteristics of individualism, Protestant ethics, and anti-capitalistic mentality. Second part of thesis focuses on analysis of the most significant degenerative factors, which are considered to be multiculturalism, political correctness, social determinism, postmodernism and current concept of the European Union. Using the created conceptual schematics, it is proven that researched degenerative agents cause distancing from position end-peak of history, which may result in decay of the west.
