Nové možnosti knihoven v digitálním prostředí

New possibilities of libraries in digital mediums
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá novými možnostmi knihoven, jež jsou realizovány v digitálním prostředí. Vychází z obecného pojetí knihoven a jejich přínosu pro společnost a končí rozborem konkrétních projektů digitálních knihoven. Pro tento účel byly vybrány reprezentativní vzorky v podobě několika informačních institucí, jejichž pole působnosti je ve svém důsledku celosvětového charakteru.
Abstract:
The paper deals with new possibilities of libraries, which are implemented in the digital mediums. Based on the general concept of libraries and their contribution to society and ends with the analysis of specific projects of digital libraries. For this purpose, representative samples were collected in the form of several information institutions whose scope is in effect a global character.
